I should say that Valentine’s Day isn’t a holiday typical for my region. AT ALL. It got big here mostly because businesses grabbed it and made it an opportunity to sell cute items, more presents, more flowers, more fancy meals at restaurants. Today I'm a living, walking zombie . . . that hates scholars. I mean who on Earth thinks it's a good idea to hold a conference on Friday? Especially one that starts at 9:30 am and finishes at 5:30 pm. Clearly these people don't know that the weekend starts on Friday late afternoon.
